Creative Producer

Born in a Taxi is an independent, for-profit, physical performance company led by co-Artistic directors, Penny Baron and Carolyn Hanna. In 2020, Taxi had its thirtieth birthday.

In my role as Creative Producer, I sought funding for the research and development of new projects that would help meet the company’s long-term strategic strategic goals and address changing funding landscapes.

As a consequence, the company received funding for street-based works during Covid restrictions and garnered two-year funding for five community and contemporary art programs.
